Updates From Randall & The Team
Here we are in the dog days of August!
We’re about to finish the club championship and then start the President’s Cup matches. Even with a little heat, this is a great time of year.
Thanks to all for bringing friends/family to enjoy our club. We hope they’ve been enjoying the course and some time in Doolin’s afterward. As always, thanks for all the feedback. Your input is always appreciated.
And if you haven’t had a chance to get up to Fogg Brook yet, please do so and let me know what you enjoyed and what you have for suggestions. Rumor has it that Steve Foss stayed at the campground and was spotted in his speedo at the pool. Glad I missed that.
It’s been another interesting year with the delay in our new carts, very little rain, and our costs unpredictable on so many things. Bottom line is that without your support, we and the team wouldn’t be here. So on behalf of everyone, thank you for being you and supporting us. We enjoy OUR collective club and hope to always find ways to have a great time with friends.
We could use some help PLEASE…If you know of anyone that would enjoy working with us, we need cooks big time. Any amount of help from someone that is a good culture fit would make a bit difference. (And for Fogg Brook we need front and back of the house help as we’re about to launch the pub.)
This month we say goodbye to most of our students. If you enjoyed them as much as we did, let them know. Also, our dishwasher Jay has just had a new baby so if you see him when he comes back for a couple days a week please extend a congratulations. We’re thrilled for him and his family.
Lastly, don’t forget to repair ball marks, fill/replace divots in fairways, keep the dang carts off the road and away from greens and on paths on all par 3s, and be kind to all.
Stay cool.
